What is Myers-Briggs?

The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) was developed by Katharine Briggs (1875-1968) and Isabel Myers (1897-1980) and draws on the work of Swiss psychologist Carl Jung. It was developed to help people determine their Personality Type and show us how each Type perceives the world differently.
It has been built upon and researched for over 50 years since its original development and is currently the most widely used instrument for understanding normal personality differences. It is used internationally, and is primarily useful for:
