Shadow-Work (Jungian Psychology)
Feelings of grief, anger, jealousy, resentment, blame, guilt and shame can arise at any time from the dark, denied part of ourself. Everyone has a shadow, which begins to develop in childhood as a result of hiding away our negative feelings as we learn to build our ego. Our shadow rises when we feel an unexplainable dislike of someone, when we uncover a long-buried, unacceptable trait in ourselves, or when we feel overwhelmed by an emotion such as anger, envy or shame.
Groups and nations also have a collective shadow which can lead to actions like racism, creating scapegoats and even war. This two-day workshop looks at the dark side of human nature.
You must know your Psychological Type before coming onto this workshop. If you do not know your Type, you can either attend the Discover Your Personality Type one-day workshop, or contact Kim for a private consultation.
